Q1What is the scope of your responsibilities?

・Dimension measurement, function test, appearance check, etc. of molded products of new or existing molds → Arrange for correction of parts that need improvement → Conduct correction confirmation test repeatedly until product completion. Adjustments are made.
・We also assemble samples (mainly for test evaluation) to be submitted to our customers. We sometimes attend meetings to discuss the evaluation of the submitted samples and data.
・After the product is approved, we prepare a red file (a compilation of product data required for mass production at the factory) to be distributed to the factory. (a document that is used for the production of the product) and guide the customer through the process.
・The above is the main content, but there are many other things we are asked to do.

Q2What do you enjoy and find challenging in your daily work?

I enjoy being involved in the completion of new products that have not yet been released to the world. It is also interesting to see limited edition products and designs before they are finalized.
It is also interesting to see limited edition products and designs before they are finalized. (That, I am a little involved in!) There is also a sense of fulfillment that comes with this.

Q3Are there any difficulties or challenges in your daily work?

・I often get eye fatigue from detailed inspection work and shoulder and finger pain from repetitive assembly work.
・I feel that it is a tough job because I have to inspect and arrange various things in a short period of time.
・I sometimes worry about my lack of knowledge about the products because I need to read the blueprints and check the molding conditions.

Q4Why did you join Yoshida Industries?

My previous job was as a salesperson, but as I listened to the sales staff of manufacturers talk about their products, I began to think that I wanted to be involved in "manufacturing" work. I was also interested in the production process because I sometimes received inquiries about defective products.
When I looked at the company profile, the above ideas and the fact that cosmetic containers were something I was familiar with, I decided to give it a try anyway, even though it was a completely different type of job, and here I am."

Q5After joining Yoshida Industries, what is your impression of the company?

I was surprised that it was more like a town factory than I expected. It sometimes makes me feel strange when I see famous brand cosmetic containers being delivered from this kind of place.

The people who work there have strong personalities, which makes it interesting

Q6Have you seen any changes in yourself since joining Yoshida Industries?

I've seen plastic products and wondered where the gates and molds match, and I've seen testers for cosmetics, not what's in them. I started to look at the container.
I have started to read the warranty and warning labels (do not do xxxx, etc.).

Q7What kind of work would you like to do at Yoshida Industries in the future?

I want to do steady work one by one.

Q8Please provide any message to prospective applicants.

There are many tasks that are hard to experience in other companies (and therefore hard work), so if you are interested, why not give it a try? Plastic products are a field that is being discussed these days for sustainability and other reasons, so in a sense, this may be a cutting-edge site for you.
I would also recommend it to those who want to see the behind-the-scenes of their favorite brands.
